My Nokia 6630 keeps scrambaling calls if I'm lucky and it hasn't decided to hang up for no reson. I have full signal it even does it when i'm using handsfree so I'm not catching any buttons. Help

Yes but none of the video calling is set up just picture messages.

if you are moving through a weak 3g area the 6680 may have problems switching to 2g. Can you put in *#0000# this will give you your software version, maybe you need an update?

V 3.45.113 04-01-05 RM-1 is the version of software on 6630 I have had various sim updates from Orange. I have the problem in all areas of the country but i have the most problems at work where i get full signal. When i took on the contract i did say i didn't want 3g enabled on phone so as far as I'm aware 3g isn't enabled.

do you see 3g on the screen of the phone? you may not be able to use the 3g service but the phone will be set up to use the network by default. I think there are some posts here already that tell you how to disable 3g on the phone and just use 2g

Search discuussion pages but don't seem to be able to find how to turn 3g off. Can you tell me how to turn off 3g please

Turn off 3G :
Settings - Connection - Network settings - Set Network mode = GSM.

If you can not find an option to change the Network mode it means you have an old FW version which is not including this feature from the menu.

Cheers I have tried that we shall see what happens. Why orange couldn't tell me this in one of the several phone calls i have made to them including two calls my phone ended i just don't know.
